Advanced Structural Analysis

At the end of subject, you should be able to

1.    identify analysis needs and suitable technique of analysis for a real life structure
2.    conduct advance structural analysis using Stiffness analysis method, using matrices, spreadsheets and coding software such as C++
3.    have a commanding grip over MsExcel and C++
4.    conduct a Finite Element Method of analysis (Ansys, OpenSEAS, STADD) – We will use an OPENSOURCE FEM software such as Z88 for our learning.
